The sun, moon and stars carry on on their designated paths…
Looking at them reminds me how short our lives are, how small our problems and how small we are.
So tiny and still, we are precious to someone.
Like the moon, so tiny when looking from the here, but still so huge in reality…
And another sunset… the cycle of day and night, winter and summer, dark and light, life and death on this earth keep me amazed. I have been searching for my ancestors a while now, at the moment I can track my forefathers to the 16th century, and this chain of generations is somehow beyond my grasp. How life is so fragile and still everything goes exactly the way god has planned it to be… This thought makes me so grateful for an opportunity to be here…
It was the time of year again! Our annual autumn forest trip was today. Looking at older posts, I saw I had posted none of our last year’s trip.
Well, not missing it this year. I was very beautiful, as usual. We were blessed with a beautiful weather, it was not too cold.
The sun was shining lightly through the clouds and gave everything a smooth feeling and look
The leaves were so beautifully colored
and there was a small lake with little fishies
And a sort of ski jump right into the water
Looks bit steep from above
I have always wondered, what is it like to jump in there. Never seen people doing it, but what else could it be for…
It was such a nice trip, I hope next year we will go again!
People are complaining that sunsets are a cliché, something overdone, thousand times seen.
For me, every moment alive is a blessing from Allah, and none of these moments are in vain, so is every sunset a new end for a lived day, which will never be lived again. And every end for a day means inshaa Allah, after the dark, a new dawn, a new day full of endless possibilities.
When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.
The sky broke like an egg into full sunset and the water caught fire.

A great evening had a beautiful end, what more to expect from a day full of joy with your loved ones…
The long wait seems to be over! Finally, after three or four weeks of absence, I could feel the warmth of the sun on my face again.
The darkest day last year was the 21. of december. I can understand that people before use to have all sorts of festivities at this day in our area.
Imagine a life without electricity, when it’s about -25 °C outside (thats about -13°F I think?) when the only lights are from candles, the only warmth from the fire in your fireplace .. ooh imagine the mornings, to get up in a icy cold house, no coffee machine to turn on.
Here a few pictures from yesterday, about 2:30 pm on my way to pick up the kids
I can’t wait for the long days of summer again! .. Patience is truly a virtue
A blessed monday to you all, this is a shot from an autumn forest, it was taken last year, and I just fell in love with the vintage style, so I made a vintage forest background of it. Great use in web design with blurred backgrounds in an autumn theme!
Hope you like it, as usual, creative commons licence, if you need a commercial licence or without back-link, just drop me message, I am sure we can find an agreement!
The vintage autumn background is a jpeg file, resolution 4000 * 3000 px and about 6MB in size.
If you use it somewhere, I’d love to see it, if you want, you can link it in the comments!
A nice autumn week to everyone!
